About Accountant ehf.
Accountant ehf. was established in 2002 and was in beginning called Pro-Plan Consulting ehf. The name was changed to Accountant ehf. in 2012 and today the company operates in accounting and business consulting sector.
The company's goals are to
- provide first-class personalized service for businesses and individuals undertake accounting endeavors
- process tax returns and other documents in compliance with tax regulations to submit to tax authorities
- process financial statements
- create business and operational plans
- provide general tax and management consultancy
- provide financial management advice and consulting
The owner
Óskar Sigurðsson has extensive business knowledge, as illustrated by both his education and his practical experience. He has worked with finance and bookkeeping for more than 2 decade. He has an extensive background in preparing financial statements, salaries, and annual reports since 2000 where he begins working with bookkeeping at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

- B.Sc. in business administration from the University of Iceland
- M.Sc. in international business from Copenhagen Business School
- M.Acc. in auditing and accounting from the University of Iceland
- Validation of securities from Continuing Education University
In 2007, the Housing Fund gave Oskar a prize for his M.Sc. thesis, completed at Copenhagen Business School.
